Moving to China

Working in the land of Pandas 🐼🐼🐼 – AKA China 🇨🇳. This entry will cover some aspects of working in China, am sure you are aware, China is a vast and diverse country, each region will need a specific entry, description and discussion, this post will be an entry to China, to give you a rough idea of what to expect and how to deal with things. Where to Live in China and more.

China mainland has 22 Provinces, 5 Autonomous regions (AR) and 4 Municipalities, the latter includes Beijing, Chongqing, Shanghai, and Tianjin. The population of China is approximately 1.4 Billion with a land area of approximately 10 Million km2, to put it in context, its about the size of whole of Europe. 😱😵😱

Normally the first questions we normally get asked is, where should I live and work in China? Well, it really depends on what you are hoping for you, are you looking for a concrete jungle type of a city, or would you like to experience the more quiet and tranquil side of China.

If you are a city 🏙️ person then you are better offer living and working in one of the big Cities such as Shanghai, Beijing, and Shenzhen, now these cities are very much globalised and westernised and people generally would be able to find the different comforts they are used to getting back home, but there is a trade-off, you will lose out on the lifestyle of the traditional Chinese customs and traditions.

hen speaking to people, there is a misconception that “Don’t they hate us (Westerners)?”, I am personally baffled by these remarks, I would like to state here, “Nobody hates!” on the contrary, generally speaking people will start talking to you about random things and try and give a positive impression about themselves.

🥣🥡🥢Another reason why one should go to China, the FOOD 🥡, Chinese food outside China does not compare! I really do mean it, it will be some of the most amazing food you will have ever tried, the only problem with it, it will ruin your taste for the Chinese food back home 🏚️!

In short, if you are interested in moving to China then GO FOR IT!
